Harbour Light

Description

Harbour Light emerges from a single block of cottonwood bark , its form both familiar and mysterious. One side preserves the raw, natural texture of the bark, while the front reveals a meticulously carved fusion of lighthouse and keeper’s house.  The tower rises slender and tapering, capped by a red conical roof that draws the eye upward in quiet reverence. Below, a red-painted doorway and a circular window punctuate the façade, their simplicity belying careful intention. The shifting grain and color of the wood breathe warmth and tactile depth into the piece, marrying architectural detail with organic vitality. This sculpture invites contemplation of places where guidance and refuge converge, anchoring imagination in crafted reality.
