Cottonwood Estate

Description

Cottonwood Estate is a detailed wooden sculpture carved from a piece of cottonwood bark, featuring a series of tall, narrow towers resembling a medieval-style castle. The towers have conical, textured roofs and elongated windows with arched and circular designs. The rough natural bark integrates seamlessly with the carved structures, giving the piece an organic and rustic aesthetic. The warm wood tones and intricate detailing create a sense of depth and craftsmanship.

This sculpture is on reserve as it is entered in the Bloomland in OZ exhibit Of Wonders Wild and New. The show is at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton, Ontario. It will be part of a display hosted by the Ontario Wood Carvers Association.
